Albotherm is developing a new class of adaptive materials for global agriculture and the built environment.
Our smart additives reversibly transition from transparent to reflective white to reduce solar gain in hot weather, enabling greenhouses and buildings to regulate their temperature without any electrical input. The transition temperature can be tuned between 0 °C and 45 °C to maintain optimal internal conditions across a wide range of climates and applications.

Albotherm is a Bristol-based materials technology company, founded in 2020 by CTO Dr Sian Fussell, and CEO Molly Allington. We are led by specialists in polymer chemistry, formulation, and manufacturing scale-up, combining deep science with industrial delivery.
